USEFUL BREADFRUIT
BREADFRUIT has origins in the South Pacific. It is a known dish in Samoa. It is cooked similar to a starch with a meal. Its name is derived from the texture of the moderately ripe fruit when cooked, similar to freshly baked bread with a potato-like flavor. It is related to the jackfruit. Also known as Artocarpus altilis.
