LANZONES Lansium domesticum, langsat, buahluku, is a fruit of a tree in the Mahogany family. As a member of the Sapindaceae, these have caused viral encephalitis. It is a great source of fiber & riboflavin. It grows in the tropics with a taste similar to rambutan or lychee. The fruit's skin is used to treat diarrhea, in the Philippines the dried skin is burned as a mosquito repellent. The skin of langsat, can be dried & burned as incense.
