DPT In laboratory animals, Diphenylthiazole (DPT) can induce chemical polycystic kidney disease PKD. When combined with N-Nitrosomorpholine NNM there is an increased risk for the development of renal cell carcinoma. With the addition of alcohol this further enhances the risk, i.e., avoid beer hot dog & smoking combinations.
