NNM & Diphenylthiazole DPT likely to produce renal cell carcinoma & liver cancer in PKD rats. RCC is increased in PKD. Risk increases when combined with alcohol, i.e. avoid beer hot dog combinations with smoking. Avoid nitrosamines, a known carcinogen, found in smoke, rubber items, and pink meats: hot dogs, pepperoni, bologna, ham, corned beef.
