PEPINO is a nightshade, related to the solanaceae family, included are the potato, eggplant (aubergine), tomato, & peppers. The centre of pepino contains many flat, round, edible seeds which can clog diverticula commonly seen with PKD. One tries to minimize oxalates which are present in nightshades.
