ASPERGILLUS is among the most harmful and the among the most useful fungus known to humans. Aspergillus contains various subspecies of fungi. Most notably Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus, produce aflatoxins. These particular aflatoxins are included together with very carcinogenic substances, once entering the body, aflatoxins are primarily metabolized by the liver and can cause liver cancer.
