CELERY Celery can cause cyst fluid accumulation enlarging kidney cysts. It retains pesticides in high quantities and with its added diuretic properties celery is to be avoided with PKD/PLD. Pesticides were found on 94 percent of the celery tested. 29 pesticides were found in celery, one of the highest of all plants.
