CORDYCEPS increases cyclic AMP. Increases in cAMP results in more circulating cAMP, which increases PKD cyst growth, creating more PKD cysts, increasing PKD organ size and increasing PKD symptoms. Cordyceps fungus attacks a host, the mycelium invades and eventually replaces the host tissue. Some supplements of cordyceps contain brown rice. In certain brown rice products, levels of arsenic have been elevated.
