IVY Not to be eaten. The safety of Ivy or Glechoma hederacea has not been established scientifically, and there is sufficient evidence to warrant caution with its use. It is toxic to cattle and horses. It contains terpenoids; terpene-rich volatile oils that irritate the gastrointestinal tract and kidneys.
