LUCHI, PURI both are from wheat flour. If it is made from whole wheat then it is called puri. Luchi is from white wheat flour. Both maida and atta flour are wheat flour and come from wheat grains. Atta is whole grain flour, maida is white flour both are obtained by milling of wheat grains. Both are wheat flour. Atta (whole wheat flour) is used to make puri, rotis, whereas maida (white flour) is used to make luchi, naan and parathas.
