PATÉ FOIS GRAS is the liver from a force fed duck. The liver of the duck is forced to expand to a good 600% of its natural size. The ducks must be force-fed in a practice known as gavage. The liver enlarges to 10% of the duck's body weight. It seems unethical to eat this paté.
