PENNYROYAL is liver toxic. Small quantities can cause acute liver and lung damage. It is a potent endocrine disruptor. Pennyroyal Contains menthofuran and pulegone both toxic to the liver. Women use pennyroyal to start or regulate their menstrual periods, or to cause an abortion. The large dose needed to induce an abortion can kill the mother or cause her irreversible kidney and liver damage.
