REVERSIN has been shown to restore kidney function in advanced cystic disease, anti-rejection drug widely used in organ transplants. Studies in mice show that the drug, reversin (rapamycin) can reverse the normally unstoppable growth of kidneys associated with PKD. Studies on a small number of humans suggest that it could work in them as well.
