LOBELIA TANIA leaves are to be avoided. Avoid lobelia it is detrimental to PKD/PLD. Causes vomiting, nausea, and is very toxic. Some side effects include dry mouth, nausea, convulsions, and even coma. Other names for lobelia are Indian tobacco, pukeweed, emetic weed, asthma weed, gagroot, vomitwort, eyebright. Its use has been as an emetic.
